With profound sadness, we remember Tessa Walker, an 18-year-old high school senior whose life was tragically cut short on March 22 following a devastating crash in Platte County, Missouri. Her passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, friends, classmates, and the entire community.
Tessa was a student at Park Hill High School, where she was known not only for her academic excellence but also for her vibrant spirit and kind heart. She was deeply involved in school life, participating in volleyball, flag football, and track. Her dedication, determination, and positive energy made her a standout both on and off the field. Tessa’s commitment to her passions and her ability to lead by example inspired those around her.
Beyond her achievements, Tessa was admired for the way she treated others. She had a natural ability to make people feel included and valued, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Friends and teachers alike remember her as someone who brought light into every room and uplifted those around her, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear.
Tessa had a bright future ahead of her. Having earned multiple scholarships, she was preparing to begin an exciting new chapter at Northwest Missouri State University. With dreams, ambition, and a passion for life, Tessa was poised to achieve great things, and her journey had only just begun.
The tragic accident occurred along Missouri 45 Highway near Farley, where the vehicle she was in left the road, overturned, and caught fire. While others survived with injuries, Tessa’s loss has deeply shaken the community.
As loved ones gather to honor her life at Vineyard Church on March 30, they will remember a young woman whose life, though far too short, was filled with purpose, promise, and love. Tessa Walker will be forever remembered for the joy, kindness, and bright future she carried with her, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
May her memory be a blessing to all.
