The city of Columbus is mourning the untimely and tragic death of Dekevin Louis, whose life was cut short by a fatal gunshot early Wednesday morning. His passing has left his family, friends, and community in profound sorrow as authorities work to uncover the circumstances surrounding his death.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., the Columbus Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at a business located in the 1600 block of Lockbourne Road, just south of Frebis Avenue. The call came from the building’s owner, who found Dekevin unresponsive inside the structure.
