A tragic crash along Interstate 45 has left a Conroe community mourning the sudden loss of 24-year-old Ashley Sotelo, whose life was cut short late Thursday night.
The accident occurred around 10:45 p.m. on March 25, 2026, near Rayford Road, just south of The Woodlands. According to officials, Sotelo’s vehicle struck a guardrail before overturning, coming to rest upside down in the southbound lanes. Emergency responders arrived to find her outside the vehicle, unresponsive and suffering from traumatic cardiac arrest. Despite immediate life-saving efforts at the scene, she could not be revived and was pronounced dead.
