Seth Zerbel Car Accident Neosho, MO Death and Obituary: Forever In Our Hearts

The Neosho community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Seth Zerbel, 31, whose life was tragically cut short in a one-vehicle crash on MO 86 just east of town. The accident occurred at approximately 12:22 p.m., leaving family, friends, and all who knew him in profound grief.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Zerbel was driving a 2003 Toyota Sequoia when his vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway. In an attempt to regain control, the vehicle crossed back over, exited the left side of the road, and struck a utility pole. The impact proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

While the circumstances of his passing are deeply saddening, those closest to Zerbel remember him not for the tragedy, but for the meaningful life he led. He previously served as pastor at Joplin Grace Chapel, where he offered guidance, compassion, and unwavering faith to his congregation before the church closed last October. His messages and mentorship left a lasting imprint on many.

In recent months, Zerbel continued his mission of service through his work with Teen Challenge, dedicating himself to helping individuals find hope, healing, and renewed purpose. His commitment reflected a sincere desire to uplift others and make a tangible difference in their lives.

Friends and community members describe him as kind, humble, and deeply devoted to his beliefs. Whether through ministry, outreach, or personal connection, he carried a spirit that brought comfort and encouragement to those around him.

Though his passing leaves an irreplaceable void, his legacy endures through the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered as a man whose faith, service, and compassion defined his journey and inspired others.
