The community of Tiffin, Ohio, is reeling from the tragic loss of Alexzandria Hickle, 22, who passed away on March 26, 2026, following a devastating single-vehicle crash in Seneca County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on State Route 18 near County Road 48, just west of Tiffin in Hopewell Township. Alexzandria was a passenger in a Ford Focus traveling eastbound when the vehicle veered off the roadway, struck a tree, and became partially submerged in a nearby pond. Emergency responders transported Alexzandria to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Authorities confirmed that she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
In addition to Alexzandria, the crash claimed the lives of three others: the driver, Hermoiney Greenler, 19, of Bucyrus, and passengers Madison Yates, 21, and Jonathan Bowling, 22, both of Tiffin. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the incident.
